I am WG the Carver. Welcome to my website.
And here is the finished family, thanks to the incredible talent of Glenn McMurdo.
At CASA's May 20, 2017, Havana Nights Celebration, the public had its first viewing of Legacy.
In June of 2016, I started a fundraising project for CASA of the Mid-Shore. This organization advocates for the best interest of children who are under the protection of the courts in the mid-shore area.

and important work at CASAmidshore.org
Here's an early look at "the family."
The family was auctioned and ultimately won by my friends, Sue and Steve Holloway of Oxford, MD. They are shown here with Legacy and with Robin Davenport, Executive Director of CASA.
Take a moment to look at the video that was produced for the promotion of Legacy. I apologize for my face being on the front of this piece.

No, I'm not carving a dog. This little fellow is just waiting patiently for me to return.
Here's a look at Legacy, my last project. Since I was unable to complete it, my good friend, mentor, and master carver, Glenn McMurdo, took up the flag and has carried it forward. If you scroll down, you will the see the completed work. To see more of Glenn's fabulous work, go to McMurdoCarvings.com.
